ooh, and another pro to the old homes..since they do not have carpeting, like Jessi KO mentioned..you dont have to give up all of your BAH. the older homes are only $799/month so that is pretty cool!!...

the old houses have carports, the new ones have garages. i wouldnt be to worried about your iphone, i have the same phone and it does just fine..just dont expect your internet on your phone to be fast...

Ooh, and just so you know, I have a few friends who live in new homes on base, and they say they are built really cheap. I really enjoy the older house..but like I said..from the outside they look hor...

The riverboat ride is really neat and you should totally go on it..I think we ate at Tony Roma's, it was really good. Hubby had just gotten out of basic and was craving steak, hehe! Not sure about hot...
