I was wondering if anyone knows about any easter egg hunts around here this year. I thought I seen something about one on base but then last night I was reading something and it said that the base had there's on the 22nd. Did we miss it already? Thanks

Nessa, from what ive been hearing on the radio the zoo is having a difernet thing. A local daycare is doing a thing to celebrate "week of the young child". syas theyll be food, popcorn, snowcones and jumping balloons, plus zoo adm. is free. from 11-3 im pretty sure.
yeah easter stuff will be at washington park following the easter parade.
Lol I just discoved that to I guess the community center is the one holding the one at the park *I think thats what the lady was saying* Were is this park at? Its the one right by the bowling alley right? I called the community center today and she was saying something about being behind the officers club building, I had kids screaming so I couldn't hear her. I hope we don't have to bring our own eggs my daughter just turned a year so shes going to be lucky to get one egg, I don't want to have to bring eggs and fill them for my daughter to not even get one lol
Okay so just to clarify, Morgan is right. The Community Center on base is hosting the Easter Egg Hunt at Steinhoff park, which is on Idaho Ave. It is the park between lodging and the bowling center. And NO you don't have to provide your own eggs--the Community Center has bought and is stuffing thousands of eggs. Some of which will have special prizes.
It starts at 10; however, I'd recommend getting there early because it doesn't take long for those thousands of eggs to disappear. the Easter Bunny will be there before and after the "hunt" for photos, plus there will be juice and snacks provided as well. Children will be broken into age groups so those of you who have little ones don't have to worry about them getting plowed by older children.
Hope that answers everyones questions! Let me know if you have more!
