They took my money !!!!

Baja Broadband took my money . I paid my bill in full. Heck, I even expanded my services (cable-tv) I woke up on the 4th and suprise!!!!! The lovely oeople there had disconnected my phone. Their mistake, and I am now without a home phone. I have been told different time frames-from 2 days to 5 then maybe 7. What would you do? I cannot even change companies as they hae my phone number (one I have had for 5 years) tied up in their "system.

Here call This Number... 1-435-879-5244 This will go straight to a guys desk and his name is Phil. Hes not a local Baja person he works out of the main office. Baja shut are cable off a couple months ago for being 3 days late! We called this guy and he was VERY VERY nice. He was able to turn are cable back on within mintues! Hope that works!!!

I do not like Baja Broadband that why we changed our service to Direct TV.Not only are they cheaper but there service is so much better.Have never had a problem with direct TV..I would go without TV if I had to go back to Baja again..

We have internet 7 phone through Baja & haven't had any problems. We had Direct TV and had tons of problems. Our cable would go out & it was a 15 min process to reprogram, our bill was wrong. A tech came out twice & never really fixed the problem. We finally broke our contract and after a few months they let us without fees cause we could prove their installer installed the whole system wrong, ran cable up my walls cause he was too lazy to put it under the house, etc. Now we happily live with the channels our antennae gives us and don't bother anymore.

we have internet cable and phone thru baja ... no problems and had them for a yr and moved twice! now to just find out if baja goes to tulie for our move at the end of the yr

Tricia, you're moving to Tulie? I thought you wanted to buy the place you are in now.

We have had tons of problems with Baja but we stay with them because it's cheap and they usually fix the problems they make!

christine..... no luck getting a hold of the owner to this place and gettin him to get rid of middle person not gonna be an easy task.. some friends of mine (ours) offered us one of their trailers for rent to own.... and we dont have to move it till its paid off an offer hard to refuse!

Just n update. It is now Monday and still no phone. That's 7 days without service on their error. I have been told that it is scheduled to be on later today-we will see if that happens. I have been credited for thr days service was out that were paid for. They offered to "compensate" but I have to go in to the local office. I have burned cell phone minutes for calls I normally made from home phone, missed calls from the D.A. office about a pending case which my daughter and I are witnesses, missed a call from a prospective employer, missed a call from my son's Pre k reguarding a meeting for paperwork, missed a call from a friend in Iraq. Tell me folks how do you compensate for a week of frustration like that?

Have you called corporate Frances? If not, I would. I would also discontinue my services with Baja and go somewhere else (if there is anywhere else. You could always do Vonage) Then I would request to have some of my money returned for the frustration you felt. Yeah, I'm not nice when it comes to stuff like that.

yes. There is not much Phil can do. the disconnect was put in action. once it was, it has to go through a process. Phil is a very nice man and so flexible. Maybe this mess will be fixed by end of business today-hope so.

Phone is on finally. I was credited with the time of lost service. For the inconveinience I was given the equivalent of one full month of phone service credited for free. Not a pleasant experience, but at least there was a credit for frustration.
