OK.HERE IS MY PROBLEEM.IF WERENT PCSing THE HELL OUT OF HERE I WHOULD SUE THE HELL OUT OF SOARING HEIGHTS. YESTEERDAY MORNING MY NEIGHBBOOR CAME OVER AND BROUGHT IT TO MY ATTENTION THAT I I A HUGE HOLE INT HE GROUND ON THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE.AND LET ME TELL YA IS WAS BIG.I WAS AFFRAID THAT ONE OF THE KIDS WOULD SEE IT AN PLAY AND MAYBE FALL INTO IT.I CALLED SOARING HEIIGHTS DIRECTLY AND TOLD THEM ABOUT IT.THE LADY TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL ON IT.WELL ABOUT 2 HOURS PASSED AND NO ONE CAME OUT SO I CALLED THE MAINTNANCE CALL CENTER AND THEY SAID THAT SOMEONE AS SCEEDULED TO COME OUT THE NEXT DAY I TOLD HER THAT SOMEONE NEEDE TO EATLEAST COME OUT AND PUT SOME KIND OF CAUTION TAPE AROUND IT AND SHE SAID SHE WILL SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO.I DECIDED TO CALL SF AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL CE.CE SAID THAT THEY WILL GET ON IT.WELL DURING THAT TIME I NOTICED A GAS SMELL IN MY HOUSE.WHEN MAINTNANE FINALLY GOT THERE AROUND 6 OR SO THE SMELL GOT WORSE.WELL THEY REEALIZED THAT A WATER PIPE BUSTED AND THEY WERE WORKIN ON THAT.WELL I MENTIONED TO THEM THAT IT SMELL LIKE GAS IN MY HOUSE.EVEN MY NEIGHBOOR WHO IS ATTACHED TO ME HAD A MILD ODOR.WELL THEY TOLD ME IT WAS CUZ THAT WATER AS SITTING DOWN THERE SO LONG BUT FOR OUR SAFTEY THEY SENT ME AND MY NEIGHBOOR IN TLF.WELL I HAVE THREE BOYS 10MONTHS 2 AND 5.I GOT THEM PACKED UP AND WENT TO LODGING.GOT IN OUR ROOM THE PHONE RINGS AND THEY TELL ME ITS OK FOR ME TO GO BACK HOME.I WALK IN MY HOUSE AND THE SMELL IS SO BAD.BUT THEY SAID IT WASNT GAS.THEY WORK ON THE PIPES IUNTIL ABOUT 930 SO AFTER THEY WERE DONE I DECIDED TO GO TO BED.WELL IT STILL SMELLED IN MY HOUSE ESO I TOOK MY BOYS AND LAYED THEM IN MY BED OPENED ALL THE WINDOWS IN MY HOUSE.I CLOSED MY BEDROOM DOOR AND LAYED SHEETS AGAINST THE DOOR SO THE ODOR COULDNT GET IN. WELL THE THIS MORNING I WOKE UP WITH THE WORST MIGRANE.BUT I DIDNT SMELL THE GAS.BUT GUESS Y.I WAS ALREADY USED TO THE SMELL.WELL THE MANAHER OF SOARING HEIGHTS COMES BY TO REASURE ME THAT IT WASNT GAS THAT IT WAS JUST THE OLD PIPE.WELL AT THAT TIME I COULDNT SMELL IT CUZ I HAD ALL MY WUNDOWS AND DOORS OPEN. WELL AROUND 530 I GO TO THE COMISSARY AND WHEN I WALK IN MY HOUSE I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA VOMIT.IT WAS BAD MY OLDEST COULDNT STAND THE SMELL.SO JUST IMAGINE HO MY OTHER TWO FELT.I DECIDED TO CALL THE FIRE DEP.THEY CAME OUT AND THEY SAID THAT U CAN SMELL THE AS WHEN U WALK UP TO MY HOUSE  

Oh wow!!! I know you are not the only one who has had problems with this company. I know when I lived on base I had SO many problems with them and I swear up and down that I will never live under their control again! They are ridiculous!!!! Good luck to you, stay strong, and fight the heck out of them!!! I would suggest getting names, posting comments on their home page, and contacting their district manager. We did and she was here from Albuquerque in about 2 hours!!!! And she chewed some butts and fixed everything for us!! They put your family in danger and now they better get the situation under control!! Good luck to you!!!

AND ONE GUY CAME OUT.AND THAT TOOK ABOUT AND HOUR,IT AS ALREADY 6 OR SO.THE FD LEFT CUZ THEY SAID THAT THERE ASNT ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY COULD DO.BUT THEY ADVISED ME TO CALL MY HUSBANDS SHIRT.WELL IT WAS GETTING LATE AND COLD.THEY CALLED A CONTRATOR OFF BASE TO COME C WERE THE LEEK WAS COMMING FROM.I HAD TO CALL MY FRIEND TO COME GET MY BOYS CUZ THEY WERE HUNGRY AND IT WAS LREADY LIKE 7.I FINALLY ASKED THEM WHAT THE DEAL WAS CUZ NOONE WAS TELLIN ME ANYTHING AND THEY SAID THAT THEEY WERE GONNA TRY TO FIND THE LEEK.I SAID SO WHAT I HAVE TO WAIT OUT HERE WHILE U FIX IT HOW LONG IS THIS GONNA TAKE,HE SAID I DONT KNOW.SO I CALLED MY HUSBANDS SHIRT.SO KNOW WE ARE AT TLF AND SO AREE MY NEIGHBOORS.AS IT TURNS OUT.THERE IS A GAS LEEK.ITS BEHIND MY SONS WALL BY THE UTILITY ROOM.SO THEY HAVE TO TEAR DOWN THE WALL TO FIX IT WHILE MY KIDS AND I ARE STUCK AT TLF.AND THEY ARE SAYING I HAVE TO TAKE MY BOYS TO THE CLINIC TOMORROW TO C IF THEEY ARE OK.IF I HADNT CALLED AND KEPT INSISTING GOOD KNOWS WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED. I THOUGHT I SHOULD SHARE THIS WITH U.NEVER EVER LET SOMEONE TELL U SOMETHING WHEN U KNOW IT ISNT RIGHT.I JUST HOPE MY BOYS ARE OK.WE WERE BREATHING THAT GAS IN FOR ALMOST TWO DAYS.UNBELIEVABLE.

Dang girl!!! Thank you for the heads up. I live on base too. You know I could tell they seemed shady when we first got here. Im glad were leaving too. Again thank you for telling us your story because it shows us what we might have to do to get threw to them.

What street did/do you live on? Sorry to hear what happened. I don't care for Soaring Heights at all. If it weren't for my husband being low rank we would be living off base. I can't stand them, they lie and don't give a crap about anyone. 

Every house I ever lived in on base had a gas leak... and we would get kicked out of the house. I am sorry I agree that soaring heights blows... best of luck to ya... 

THANK U SO MUCH FOR UR SUPPORT.I IMMIDIATLY MADE A DOC APPT FOR MY BOYS AND SHE SAID I NEEDED TO CALL POISON CONYROL.I WENT OFF ON THE LADY.MY 1O MONTH OLD LOOKS SICK.HE HAS THESE DARK RINGS AROUND HIS EYES,AND I LIVE ON LEA CRT ROBERTA.

Bianka, if you hadn't opened the windows and put the towel under the door, you & your boys would have died. I would definitely file a complaint. Someone else next time might not be soo lucky. 

I would put a add on hys. A nice thought out and very well put add asking ppl who have had this happen to join with you and get maintance to actually do what needs to be done. Maybe you could get some ppl together with horrible stories and could go infront the higher managment. Your not the first that this is happend to. I saw someone do this on hys with his car I don't know the results he got but atleast your out there telling your story and helping other beware of whats going on.

I would definitely move. I would also see about finding others that have been mistreated & starting a class action lawsuit so they will take others seriously. 

yea my mom called the comander and his secretary told her that she cnat even imagine how many horror stories about sh came across his desk.so i dont know if the base can actualy do something about these pple not doin there job. 

It's not the base. It is the District Attorney. SH is privatized housing. Do what Morgan says, start collecting your own data by posting on here & gettingt he word out. Get a lawyer. The military has no say about how privatized housing treats people. 

yea i know.and i kinda think that is stupid.y treat us different just bc we are military.i highly doubt something like this wild ever happen in town.lets say u were have a gas leek.u call pnm emergency line and they come out and fix it.they couldnt even find the leek.i dont even have to worry about a law suit.my hisband said that as soon as he gets back from his deployment he will go through legal and something called OSI.kinda like jag in the army.my hubby is gone and has this weight in his shoulders that we are not being taken care off.that is the last thing that he should be concerned about
