I have been considering switching from Qwest to Baja but I am unsure if their quality is good. Do you have any services through them and if so have you experienced any problems? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have Baja ... although I have no basis for comparison. We just got here and are in new housing, so we have no choice as far as cable goes. Internet works perfect, cable is ok ... its cable. Although they have problems with this new housing and have weak signals here ... the cable in the other rooms doesn't look so well, and the one with the box looks ok. Ive had better, but we have no choice really. Unless we want satellite ... but we don't.
We have Baja too. The only thing I would complain about is their customer service. Occasionally our bill has gone up with no explaination and the cs people are VERY rude to us. But other than that, the internet works great and cable is good too, minus when there are storms.
Everything works fine unless you have to call them for something..........they are absolutely one of the most rude customer service centers I've ever dealt with.....I have been in tears numerous times after dealing with their customer service dept.
We have Qwest and have always had the best customer service. And the only time we have had problems is when it snowed and I had to go outside and wipe the accumulated snow off of the dish, then it was as clear as ever.
I think it is very common, from where I hail anyway, for cable to continually increase their rates without notice until you were paying more than for satellite, especially when you're at the mercy of only one cable company and no competition (cable wise).
I have had Baja for two years now, I had Qwest with Dish, but was not satified with Qwest because the internet was slow and was told at first it was due to where I live (by the German School-this was over two years ago)then when I finally decided to switch to Baja, they notified me that new updates where done and I could upgrade to get better service. I decided to go with Baja because I feel they should have told me that sooner, I could have been getting better service months before switching!
I have Baja for both Cable, and Internet. Basically no problems, other than the cable in the past would often have some fuzzy channels that would seem to stay fuzzy forever.
The broadband service has been very good, fast, and trouble free.
About the only other gripe I can mention, is that Baja does like to increase rates regularly, and we have been investigating other options recently, but are undecided, and unsure ther's would be any savings>
