Hey everyone,
I moved here last year after getting married to my husband and am trying to get to know people. I was working so that helped with the homesickness, but I don't work anymore. So I'm really bored sitting around the house and not knowing very many people. My husband has a few friends with wifes but they all are gone because there husbands are deployed. Does anyone know of groups to get involved in or how to meet people around here? Any help would be great! 

I started a playgroup lizard.......we would love to meet you and it doesn't matter if you don't have kids. There are amazing women in the playgroup.......our facebook is Holloman Hot Tamommies if you are interested! I have had a hard time making friends too.........that is why I started the playgroup!

Hi Christy, I was looking on facebook, but I can't figure out when you guys all meet and the time. So if you could just let me know that would be great. Where do you guys normally meet, is it off base or on base? 

When I post events, it should send them to you each week- they should show up in your events section on your facebook page.......or you can go to our facebook page and click on the events tab and it will tell you when and where we meet.........

you could always come and join HESO. i am the PR chairperson for the group, it is really fun! we meet 2 times a month, the 3rd saturday is when we have our socials..we always do something different. last month we did karaoke and this month we are doing a game night at the community center. it starts at 6pm. then on the 4th thursday of the month we have our board meetings, and all members are invited and encouraged to attend. we usually take care of business within the 1st hour and then we just sit around and chit chat. we pick diff locations for our meetings every month. the one this month is at a members house.
we just re-started the group a few months ago and we are getting more members all the time. you can check out our website, www.heso-nm.webs.com
just keep in mind that i have been out of town for the past 45 days and i have been unable to update it, so the social dates are incorrect on the calendar on the site. anyways, hope to see you at one of our socials/meetings!

Hello everyone, We at HESO meet for our socials every 3rd Friday of every month. We just had one tonight, as I had posted on the H Underground. We had game night and had a blast.
