Our daughter is going to be 3 next month and we were wanting to get her teeth cleaned but a lady I talked to over the phone with Tricare is saying I have to start dental insurance on her through United Concordia and that Tricare doesn't cover her dental.

Is that right b/c I didn't have to have dental insurance to get my 2 yearly cleanings when I started using Tricare? I mean, she's not even 3 yet. It's not like she's getting braces or anything, it's just a cleaning. 

Yes you have to sign up separately....and it takes awhile. Pain in the arse. 

Yup,you can get the form to mail in in front of Tricare office at the clinic or go to www.tricaredentalprogram.com. I just did it last month. Once it pulls the first payment you can go I think 30 days later.
