It's hard to believe you act like a juvenile when you're a senior citizen. Grow up Carol, really. It's quite embarrassing. No wonder your family can't stand being around you. 

Cottonwood Pet Resort is fantastic. They give me spoecial rates because I have 4 dogs, albeit small. Their accomodations are clean and spacious, and their outside time is always monitored. My 4 love going there, and when I go out of town for the day, I take them over there for doggy day care. Eva, one of their groomers is fantastic.

We haven't taken our dog there yet but this is where I'll be taking her when we end up needing to. It seems very very nice and offers a military discount so ends up being about $20 a night!

I'm sorry-about $26 a night. Still not bad at all though for the attention your dog will get since it's a small privately owned facility.
