OK, enough is enough, right?I remember when I first joined HYS and started posting I didn't know about posting in more than one category and the rules and regs etc. and someone quickly had issues with me...I changed my ways right away...SO....

Any advice on how to nicely tell the seller "Dee Dee" that enough is enough with the DVD and books postings over and over again 15 or 16 times a day every single day. Sometimes I just hate getting on to look at stuff folks have posted because it's just saturated with Dee Dee's post after post after post with most of it being the same items.

Any suggestions? I mean of course she has a right to post as we all do, and I have even purchased a few books and DVD's from her, but I think she is seriously OVER POSTING and it really is getting annoying....OR maybe it's just me...I don't have as much patience as I used to...LOL

Lol ... well, you're right ... she does have the right to post what she wants as we all do, and if you think she's overposting then maybe contact her and talk to her about it. Seems that a lot of people don't like to confront or talk to the person to avoid any kind of conflict ... but I would just contact her and talk to her. If she's not willing to change, and you feel she is still over posting, maybe contact the page people ... I forgot their name ... andy or adam ... something like that.

I for one just ignore all those posts, unless I'm looking for a movie ... I just skip over them ... well, good luck to you ... 

I guess it's worth a try to contact her...hopefully she's an understanding person...I'm never in the mood for drama.

It's kind of hard to "ignore" her mass posts though because I look for Blu Rays and unfortunately have to look through tons of her posts to get to someone else's possible post of a blu ray....it's just very annoying... to me anyway. Maybe we should have a separate category called "Dee Dee's DVD's and Books" and put her 50 pages of posts in there LOL! 

Does anyone know if there is a personal "block a seller" feature on HYS, I know there is an "add a seller" feature.....like add a seller to get alerts so maybe there is a block a seller for your personal viewing?????? 

Maybe you can use the "search" box and type in what you are looking for. Then you wont have to look at all of Dee Dee's DVDs. Also, if you dont like it, dont look at it, go somewhere else. I think Dee Dee has the right to post what she wants.

I understand what you are saying Diana. It is really frustrating when you get up early in the morning & post your items and then she posts like 4 pages and your new items are buried. It is definitely worth contacting her about. I like the hide a seller feature. I use that when one of my friends posts something with foul language on facebook-I hide that post, lol 

Trina, I will use the search box for blu rays which does block out quite a bit of her DVD's because most of her posts are NOT blu rays...but sometimes I would just like to look at regular DVD's also or folks newest posts in the electronics category. I guess my point is that she simply OVERPOSTS DAILY...

Second, I mentioned in my very first post that she has a right to post as we all do, I do not have any issue whatsoever with that, it's the page after page of posts daily that sometimes are repeated of the same item just posted in a different way that I personally have a issue with.

Third, I have posted this in a positive friendly way for positive friendly advice so your comment go somewhere else if I don't like it certainly isn't in keeping with being positive don't you think?

You can flag sellers for overposting on Craigslist which I think is a good feature of their website. (and yes I know I can go to Craigslist if I don't like it) I think having a feature on HYS to block or unblock a seller for your PERSONAL viewing would be fantastic...that way, that seller is still FREE to post 1000 times a day if they wish, and I am FREE to not have to go through all her posts just to get to someone else's sales of Blu Rays or DVD's or electronics AND I can find folks NEWEST posts without having pages of her posts to go through.

It's a positive solution for all parties. I talked to HYS owners and they said they thought it was a good suggestion so I hope to see it implemented in the near future...that would be great! :-)

I completely agree Diana, I think you were positive in your post, but it is really frusterating w/all the dvds and books posted 1 at a time. It is way OVER-DONE! It makes me not want to purchase anything from her even if I would like to have it for that reason. 

NOT only does she post them INDIVIDUALLY she posts them in groups as well. AND then she posts them again later in the day yet STILL keeps all the other postings UP. Yes you can post as many times as you'd like however I think it disrespectful to just blatantly HOG up a page. I noticed that some of you suggested to just IGNORE her postings this does no good because sometimes another individual is able to slip their posting jumbled up in the mess she makes. I myself have posted items and gone back and seen hers have overpowered my listings and have had to delete and re post just so that others could see what I have up to offer. If I could flag her things I would quite honestly but I can not flag ATM because of issues I had with another person on here that I had to go to court with (not over anything on hys)cept for that fact that they were trying to sell something that they were not allowed to because we were in court preceding over the item. Which was over a year ago. ANYWAY yes Dee Dee overposts period.

wow I am sorry but I don't post over & over again and to clarify I don't complain either & I have received many nice e-mails from people thanking me for saving them from using or buying from someone dishonest. that is what people who have integrity and are honest do. You can attack me all you want, but I use my real name & stand up for what is right. I have met both DeeDee and Diana and know both sides. Talking about solutions is how differences get worked out. I do not have a business to be out of I sell my unneeded things to others that are in need of these items for EXTRA Money and to NOT fill the landfill or "dump" as you call it. OR I give things away as well. Thus making me AWARE of my environment which obviously you could care less. What lawsuits, lol Chanda is beautiful and the only one being ugly on here is you (minding everyones business). Noone was faulting DeeDee for her business simply wanting to ask her to think of others too. I have met her, in fact I sold her cd & dvd cases at my garage sale. I use to buy from her but she lives too far out. There's this really neat feature on here-Hide Comments. I am using it now so I don't have to read anymore of your negative crap
