I am a Brit and my husband is also half British. We got here a few months ago and it is quite a change from England.
You will be happy to know that they sell Teabags at the commisary :) and a few other English things.

We are currently working on getting clearance to move, should be quick. I am guessing we'll be there in a couple of weeks. Amy is expecting child number 4 on 8 July, so if we dont get there before, it'll be a couple of weeks later at the latest.

I have family in Alamo, as my brother was stationed there, and stayed when he got out. But if there is one thing the missus and I have missed since we left Europe to come to Tinker, is non-family based conversations and interactions. Our kids are 11, 9, 6, and nearly born. We expect to spend a while at the pool on base until school starts.

We also plan on trying to get base housing.
