Does anyone have any personal information on this preschool/daycare, like class conditions, is there actual teaching that occurs or mainly just babysitting, treatment of the children, qualifications/attitudes/friendliness of the teachers, cleanliness practices, or anything else you can add. Any information is much appreciated!

They teach in the mornings. They teach abc, colors, shapes. They do more than babysitting. Class sizes are large. 1 teacher to 13 or 14 kids on average with maybe a helper once a week-except in the 2 year old room where the norm is 2 teachers to 15 kids. The rooms in the buildings are kept clean except I felt the carpets being cleaned 1-2 times a year was not very sanitary. Some of the teachers are qualified (those that have been there). they have a huge turn-over in staff and hire alot of early 20's young adults. As with any daycare you have alot of sickness going around as well as lice, etc. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the info Christine!

Also, does anyone have any info on Full House? Thanks in advance.

Full House has 2 different locations. They do teaching in mornings as well. They also have a meal program and I believe they stay open later. Due to how their buildings are it is alot more noisy but they do have nice playground area. There's also one on Scenic near hospital. They are really nice. I think it is called Childrens World, but I am not sure.

Thanks again for the info Christine. I had spoken to them about their locations and they said that Children's House Child Dev. Center on Medical Drive is theirs, as well as Full House Too (or 2 or Two, I can't remember what spelling they use) which is also on Florida but further south and before you get to First Street. (I believe Children's World is on First Street down past Washington Park and getting near to Head Start but across the street. From what I understand it is not associated with any other daycare. I don't know much about them either other than their location).

They did say that for the State Funded 4 Year Old Pre-K they bus or van the children from the other two locations to their main location at 1815 N. Florida. They said they have two sessions, 8:00 to 11:00 and 11:30 to 2:30 (this is for anyone looking for a pre-k program).
